Something There That Wasn't There Before

Perhaps, there's something there for someone as compensation for caring about fundamental things of others, though that may be their kids.  People should have their kids as a priority.  I mean, though, like they bring you into their situation and have something as bait, while they affect your life in some way or restrain it, somehow, for a long time.
